Topic: Scripting Language for Testing ? Need Help Posted: 03Mar2009 at 1:55pm |
Hi everyone,
I am very new in this forum and am glad to find a place like this.I am working as a junior tester for last three months .My job includes mainly manual testing .I would like to go more in to the automation side of the testing. A friend of mine advised to learn a scripting language ,which he said would be good for the future. So I am planning to learn one and I am confused which one to learn . My choices are Python and Ruby.Which one do you think would be good for me and which one of these is most commonly used and has a future.Or is there any other? Thank You Edited by klvi101 - 03Mar2009 at 1:56pm Post Resume: Click here to Upload your Resume & Apply for Jobs |

With very few exceptions, test automation tools are driven by scripting languages.
