Education / Experience Requirements
Candidate will have a BS and/or MS degree in Computer Science (or
equivalent) or related discipline and have 1-3 years of experience in a
software
development/testing
role. Roles should include
testing
software
solutions. Candidate with prior ATM experience will be preferred. The
candidate should possess strong Manual
Testing
skills and have a deep understanding of techniques involved in
preparation of test cases.
Preference would be given to candidates with good understanding of
the following:
•Experience of defining test strategy for distributed systems (multi
tier systems). Especially working on a web server/ application server.
•Good understanding of Performance & stress testing
•Prior experience in working with automation tools to perform load
testing.
•Prior working with Java based systems is an advantage
Candidate needs to have demonstrated abilities to work effectively in
a test team environment and have good resource and time management
skills to successfully work on and drive multiple tasks at one time.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
Proficient in the
Software Development Process,
software
testing life
cycle and software
configuration management as they relate to the process. Will work on
projects of medium to high complexity, and exercise judgment within
defined procedures & practices to determine appropriate action. Can work
with minimal guidance from manager and show initiative.
