Job Description:

The Service Router Product Group builds multiservice edge routers for service providers, cable MSO and enterprise customers looking to deliver a new wave of residential, business and mobile services on a single IP/MPLS network. The suite of products which includes the 7750 Edge Router, the 7450 Aggregator, the 7710 edge router in a modular and compact form factor, the 7705 Service Aggregation Router, and the 7210 Service Access Switches. The entire product family is based on the Service Router Operating System (SR-OS). The Service Router family of products has established a new benchmark among carrier customers for richness of features and reliability, and is rapidly gaining market share worldwide.

Desired Profile :

# Deep knowledge of routing, bridging, MPLS, and QoS

# Able to troubleshoot complex routing/MPLS/L2 problems

# Experience with gigabit routers (Riverstone, Cisco, Juniper, Nortel, etc)

# Willing to automate test cases

# Experience with different media (Ethernet, POS, ATM, T3/E3) much preferred

# Lives to find flaws in the software and hardware!

# Service Provider experience plus QA experience is highly preferred

# Experience with test tools like IXIA, Smartbits, Adtech, etc.

# Excellent communication skills

# Ability and willingness to be fully responsible for our product quality.

Minimum Bachelor's in Engineering, preferably in Computer Science, or Electronics and Communications, or Electrical Engineering.

Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in datacom technologies.
