Responsibilities :

For Test Manager-
Performance Testing/Automation:
Take bottomline responsibility for timely and high-quality execution of testing projects
Define test scope, estimates and timelines and overall test strategy
Project planning, tracking and status reporting
Motivate and mentor team members
Participate in proposal design, pre-sales activities and client presentations
Participate in PU-wide activities like test process / methodology definitions / enhancements, building a Body of Knowledge, etc
Interfacing with the client/offshore/onsite teams
For Test Analyst-

Performance Testing/Automation:
Analyze the Test Requirements Specification; create a Requirement Traceability Matrix and contribution in developing the Test Strategy
Develop Test Scenarios
Responsible for periodically reviewing the test cases developed and the test execution results of his team.
Ensure defects are logged correctly and tracked till closure
Change control and management of the Testware
Responsible for solving technical issues faced by the Test Engineers

Qualification : BE/B.Tech/MCA(Full time) from a reputed/recognized institute with Testing experience

Experience/Skills :
For Test Manager/Senior Test Manager:
7 to 13 years of experience in the IT Industry with good hands-on exposure in load testing, stress testing, volume testing, performance testing or package testing (Siebel, CRM, PeopleSoft) and ability to crack the application bottlenecks and suggest tuning recommendations
Experience in load testing tools such as LoadRunner, SilkPerformer, Webload is a strong plus
Knowledge on any of the application/web servers or databases is an added advantage
Excellent team leadership, client interfacing, presentation and communication skills are necessary
Knoweldge of estimation, pre-sales, proposals
Good project management skills.
For Test Analyst:
Performance Testing/Automation:
In atleast one Testing Tool - Rational (Robot, Test Manager/Performance Studio), Radview (Web Load), Mercury(Win runner, Load Runner, Test Director, Quick Test Pro), Segue (Silk Test, Silk Performer)
In atleast one Operating System (AS 400, Mainframe, Unix/Linux, Windows), one Database (Oracle, Sybase, Informix, DB2, MS Access) and one business domain(preferable)- Retail (familiarity with Retek/RMS is desired), Finance, Banking, Insurance, Manufacturing
Good communication, presentation and team working skills
IT Certifications like CSQA, CSTE will be an added plus
4-6 years of experience
