i am new to this forum i have couple of questions for experienced persons in testing.
i had done QA testing course from India nearly one year back. so can somebody guide me about which skills i should improve along with using testing tools? do i need skills like in scripting languages?
i do have knowledge of c and c++ programming.
 
can anybody give me Tammy project so i can work on it?

If you know programming, it is easy to work on automation tools. You can easily understand the scripts.

You can test the popular sites like yahoo, google etc. What do you actually need in terms of dummy project?

Aparna,

Click on a link. It should redirect you to the respective page.
Test 'Search' option by entering some key words in 'Search' field.
You can test there.. Images, Videos, Sports, Mails etc etc..
