Automation QA Engineer, Yahoo! App. Platform team
Are you a skilled QA engineer with experience working with fast paced engineering organization? This opportunity is for an individual with strong technical and QA skills, highly efficient, who enjoys working in a fast paced, collaborative environment. You need to have a strong sense of responsibility, ownership and accountability.

Responsibilities:

Develop automated tests and test tools needed to deliver high quality releases for Yahoo platform products. Write test plans, write and execute test cases Identify bugs and bug trends and drive resolution process Keep management informed of progress and escalate issues when needed

Experience in QA automation tools, reporting, web monitoring, and code coverage tools.
Solid 5+ years experience in UI automation planning and test script creation.
Experience with Selenium is required.
Working experience in any of the following is strongly recommended for a successful candidate:
PHP, Perl, JavaScript?
Web client technologies, DOM, CSS
Databases
API and web services. *Knowledge of the following is a plus: C/C++, Java, REST, SOAP, JSON
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Good understanding of QA methodologies, procedures.
Self-starter, team player with strong sense of commitment, highly organized, reacts well to changes.
Solid & effective written & verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a dynamic fast paced environment and against tight deadlines.
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
