The client is the captive technology unit of a leading global bank based in Pune which is in a ramp up mode. We have been mandated to seek out several senior IT testing professionals (3) in the relevant work exp segment of6 to 10 yrs from the banking domain.

The client expects all its managers to be 'hands on' and be multi-tasked.

Key expectations of the roles:

1) Test multiple portfolios i.e channel banking, branch banking & tele banking .

2) Build & transition teams

3) Build D/W competency within testing.

Desired Candidate Profile

The client expects serious applicants to exhibit the following attributes -

1) BE/BCA

2)6 to 10 yrs in the IT industry with Tier I IT cos.

3) First 2/3 yrs as a developer

4) Last 6/8 yrs in the banking domain (Not insurance)

5) Strong withTest Director, QTP & Win Runner

6) Strong with D/W tools - SAS, ETL, Informatica & BO

7) Team mgmt skills

8) Transition & Migration experience within a MNC bank captive

9) Must have worked in an onsite-off shore environment

10)Must have beene exposed to client/stakeholder mgmt processes.

11)Must have tested multiple banking portfolios i.e. channel/branch/tele banking.

12)Strong test management experience

13)Expsoure to complex test environments

14)Software Configuration mgmt during test phase

15)Experience of multiple phases in test types

16)Multiple project exposure - 60 to 100 in current role.

17)Must have been in an internal/external customer facing role for the last 4 yrs.

18)Should have experienced the challenge of off-shoring to India

19)Prior experience of working with vendors.

ABN Amro Central Services, DB, HSBC IT, SCOPE, Citigroup IT and the banking related testing practices of IBM, Infosys, CapGemini in Pune.
