Responsibilities:

1. Participation in the testing of Platform components.
2. Participate in the maintenance and adding value with new scripts of the existing Platform Junit Architecture
3. Track and analyze results of the tests and work closely with the software developers to isolate and reproduce defects.
4. Communicate testing status and issues on a regular basis.
5. Configure the necessary test environment including installation and management of web server, application server, database server and web browsers.
6. Use logical discussion structure and techniques.
7. Promote team effectiveness and contribute to ensuring group tasks are completed.
8. Sets and consistently strives to meet and surpass stretch goals.
9. Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices.
10. Interact closely with members of cross-functional feature teams for product success

We are looking out for following Skills: -

- 5 - 8 years of experience in QA.
- J2EE/Java, Ability to write and maintain / debug Junit tests and its framework.
- SQL, Object oriented programming concepts, and XML.
- RDBMS such as Oracle, SQL Server or DB2 is preferred.
- Should possess excellent analytical and problem solving skills and be meticulous and detail oriented.
- Experience of Integration Testing, Core Java, optional : Perl / Shell Scripting
- Should have effective communication skills in English (written and oral).
