Designation:Technology Manager - QA
Job DescriptionWF-ISD QA group focuses on testing cutting edge Internet
functionality, content and information. We are looking for sharp, optimistic
manager with a high energy level who has a passion for Quality, Technology
Leverage, Optimization and Excellence. You will be leading the team of
QA/Testers developing and executing testcases on Wells Fargo Internet
applications. Testing includes Functional, Regression, Integration and Automated
testing of web-based front end applications, banking middleware ware and backend
systems. You will work with our US based QA Managers and manage the projects in
our offshore facility. You will report operationally to the General Manager of
ISD-QA in the United States.
* You will be responsible for managing the QA organization of WFIS-ISD-QA India
operation
* You will be responsible to hire/train/allocate other members of QA
organization in conjunction with the US based managers
* You will be responsible to establish quality process within the Testing
Organization for all our offshore projects
* You will be responsible to work with onsite ISD QA managers and manage their
expectations for offshore QA/Test Automation projects
* Direct management and supervision of employees and contractors on the team.
- Coordinate QA team members' responsibilities and priorities.
- Provide feedback, coaching and development to staff members and create
performance reviews.
- Train and develop team (as needed) to meet technical and business demands.
- Responsible for staff acquisition and retention.
- Responsible for resource management and monthly forecasting of work load by
staff member in conjunction with the US based managers.
* You will manage more than one team of software testers working on different
projects

Job Level Details
10+ years of working experience in the computer industry
7+ years of managing QA and Test Automation organizations
3+ years of working experience with offshore projects is required
Prior management experience in managing a team of more than 20 resources is
required
Visible leadership/managerial skills is a key factor for this position
Well versed with Internet technologies and infrastructure
Working experience with Test Management and Automation tools is a big plus
Excellent inter personal skills and resolution of the technical, team level and
inter team level issues
Experience in estimation of software projects (project sizings)
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, including but not limited to
requirement and risk analysis
Demonstrated expert knowledge in test planning, test design, test data
definition
Experience in defect tracking, reporting and metrics
Excellent communication and documentation skills are required
Ability to understand the scope of project in the creation of a project plan is
required
BS/MS in Computer Science or related field is required
Any Management degree or training is a big plus
Any prior Banking/Finance knowledge is a big plus.Experience:3 - 5 Years
