Software process:

Knowledge and Experience in Software Testing.

Knowledge and Experience in Complete Software Test Life Cycle.

Skills in software testing (Test Design, Test Execution, and Test scripting).

Knowledge and experience in Software Bug lifecycle and Bug Tracking tools.

Experience in writing Test Utilities and Test Drivers.

Knowledge and experience with software development tools including defect reporting and management tools, configuration management tools and testing tools.

Development domain:

Technologies:

Working knowledge of testing windows applications.

Secondary Skills (Nice To Have) :

Software process:

Knowledge and experience in White Box Testing.

Experience in Embedded software testing particularly in Industrial Automation domain.

Working Knowledge of Protocols like Profibus, Foundation Fieldbus and HART etc.

Knowledge and experience in Software Quality Management

Industry domain:

Technologies:

Experience in Test Automation using Mercury's QTP.

Experience in PDM Tools preferably Matrix and Requirement Management Tools such as Rational ReqPro.

Experience in Telelogic Change Synergy.
Description of Position Responsibilities:

Responsible for Writing and Reviewing Test Design Documentation for Functional and Product Integration Testing.

Should be working along side senior testers and Developers for delivering our Fieldbus Project Offerings.

Responsible for Testing, Defect Reporting and analysis of Standalone Applications and Embedded Software.

If Required may have to write test scripts that validate Embedded software.

If Required may have to Write Test Utilities to perform white box testing at early stages of development.

Adhere to IDC quality policies and procedures.
