| The main task for these resources would be:
- Scan all visible headlines looking for Misspellings, Other Title "Weirdness"
- Scan all visible snippets looking for Garbled text, test that doesn't appear to be part of the article body.
- Scan all visible images looking for Porn Content, Images that have no relation to the story cluster.
- Lookout for Inappropriate Language
- Evidence that an article is a press release, satirical or op-ed piece
- Evidence that an article is in the wrong cluster or section
- Evidence of porn or hate content
This
is the main job description but not limited to this, the resources
would also identify repetitions in errors and convey them so that the
algorithm could be cleaned up.(cleaning up user visible errors, Provide
training data for algorithms and provide a safety net to launch product
improvements)
The job profile would also be requiring people mainly in software testing
(manual) field with a flair for news and search engines with 1 -2
years of experience with web relating testing. Knowledge in Scripting
is preferred. |
