Test Analyst
Should have atleast3 years of experience in Manual/ Automation Testing
Should have good knowledge in Unix/Linux/Solaris
Should have good knowledge in STLC
Good domain Knowledge.
Reviewing the Test Scripts.
Preparation of Test Reports and Daily Status Reports.
Database level analysis on data corruptions.
Should be aware of the Quality Assurance process (CMM Level)

Testing Concepts:

Fundamentals of testing, SDLC/TLC, Test Levels (component, integration, functional, system, UAT etc), Alpha/Beta testing, Test design techniques, Equivalence partitioning, Boundary value analysis, Decision table testing, State transition testing, Use case testing, Unit testing, Defect reporting and tracking,

Automation Tools:

Basic knowledge on the use of any automation tool like QTP, WR, Silk, Rational Robot, TC. Having hands on exp will be an added advantage

Database Concepts:

Good knowledge in Database concepts, functions, constraints, triggers. Ability to write queries using joins and sub-queries. Ability to understand the functionality by going through a PL SQL procedure

Programming Skills: Good knowledge in any one language

QA Process:

Review & Review process, Configuration management,
Should have good analytical skils
Should have good communication skills (both written and oral)
Should be a good team player
Should have good interpersonal skills
