Job Responsibilities


This position involves two primary responsibilities: product testing and
software process improvement activities.

Product testing includes test planning, automated test case development using Visual Basic and the Tool Command Language (TCL) and other languages and tools, execution of the tests and technical analysis of the results.

At least 2 years of hands-on automated testing experience is a requirement for this position.

The product under test will be a Windows-based software package that interacts with our test and measurement products.

As a member of the product development team, you will work closely with Software Engineering, Marketing and the Program Manager in these full life cycle (product concept to manufacturing) tasks.

Desired Candidate


A successful candidate will be a B.S /M.S in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

This position requires at least 3-8 years of work experience in software quality assurance, software process improvement and/or software development.

2 years of hands-on automated testing experience using computer programming languages or scripts is also required; this implies a good understanding of algorithms and data structures (the ability to write code).

Candidate should have good exposure on Functional Testing, Regression Testing and GUI Testing.

The candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, good organization skills and be able to define, plan and implement general approaches and specific solutions in the areas of software testing and software process improvement.

Individuals should have academic or working knowledge in several of the following: requirements engineering, product planning, architectures, design methodologies, formal technical reviews, software metrics, configuration management, software maturity level assessments, and system integration.

Successful candidate Should have worked n Embedded Domain and should have worked on TCL.

A passion for continuous process improvement is required.
