Required Skills:

• 4+ Years of IT Experience.
• Must have solid experience in software testing.
• Software quality assurance and structured testing lifecycleexperience >4 years.
• Experience in testing web and Windows base application >3 years.
• Understanding and ability to conduct the following testing types: Regression testing, system testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools and application (e.g. MS Word, MS Excel, etc.).
• Working knowledge on SQL.
• Good communication skills, written and verbal.
• Good problem solving and issue analysis skills.
• Basic knowledge of investment banking and financial markets business.
• Proven ability to work with a team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self motivated and setting high level of professionalism and excellence.
• Sound decision making and judgment skills
• Good analytical skills.
• Methodical approach to work and meticulous attention to detail.

Desired Skills:

• Understanding of stages of the SDLC+ process.
• Knowledge of software configuration management strategies and tools.
• Defect trend analysis skills and knowledge of software defect lifecycle.
• Working knowledge of Mercury Quality Center tool.
• Knowledge of automated testing using Mercury Quick Test Professional tool.

Educational Qualification:

• Collegiate BS degree in computer science required or combination of education and directly related experience.
