Job Description
Manages/ supervises and executes QA (quality assurance) tracks
Executes QA activities from offshore / coordinates with onsite team
Responsible for testing process and ensuring that testing methodology
Plans and provides work allocation for resources on his projects across the group
Creates test plans and monitors projects
Communicates, mentors and trains QA team in test plan development
methods; quality & risk management metrics; defect management;
evaluation of software to design and usability standards, test case
writing/ execution efficiency
Prepares an efficient strategy for meeting test goals within the team
Total accountability for functional, technical and quality issues across team
Exercises broad judgment within less defined and/ or ambiguous practices/ policies
Provides direction in appropriate deliver/ performance of tasks/ assignments
Desired Candidate Profile
Strong software test skills and demonstrated ability to create a
successful application test strategy including automation testing,
security testing, test case development, test case management
Setting and verifying milestone release criteria are required
Strong technical aptitude, leadership capability, intimate knowledge of
the software development life cycle, a proven track record in
delivering projects and robust communication skills
Ability to coordinate activities for multiple projects in multiple locations and experience working with distributed teams
Experience in delivering live projects to the point where the project was successfully implemented
Excellent written and oral communication skills required
Highly refined software engineering process facilitation skills with areas of business/ functional specialization
Strong working knowledge of various test tools
Excellent problem resolution, judgment and decision making skills required
