Job Description
Job Title: Integrated System Validation Analyst (2 positions)
Date Required: 1/15/2008
The Validation Analyst will plan and conduct end-to-end
validations of Connected Worksite solutions in support of new releases
of solution components.
Responsibilities
1.Follow established Integrated System
Validation methodology (processes already defined but team open to
recommended improvements (e.g. CMMI))
2.Review and understand functional requirements and interface designs
3.Develop requirements traceability matrices, test scenarios and validation scripts
4.Work with developers to prepare test data for validation
5.Configure test tools and test hardware (project team will need to
determine how to test hardware connectivity in Bangaloreuntil then team
in Bangalore will test software)
6.Execute validation scripts and document results
7.Document, categorize and track status of validation issues
8.Manage validation documentation for current and previous releases
9.Enter unresolved validation issues in appropriate issue tracking tools
10.Provide weekly validation status reports
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information
Technology or Engineeringprefer electrical engineering
background/education with IT experience (needs to know electrical
connections, terminology, etc.)
Ability to learn new software applications quickly
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Ability to clearly and concisely document technical issues
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail
Understanding of structured testing methodologies and processes
Experience with Microsoft Office
6 weeks initial training in Peoria
Potential travel to site locations in the future
Highly Desired:
2+ Years experience with complex Web based business applications development including testing
2 Years experience in quality assurance or system validation
Understanding of Web based application standards
Experience with configuration and system integration of electronics or computer hardware
Ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments
