A user in computing context is one who uses a computer system. Users are also widely characterized as the class of people that uses a system without complete technical expertise required to fully understand the system.

Economics and commerce define an end-user as the person who uses a product. The end-user may differ from the customer, who might buy the product, but doesn't necessarily use it

A customer is someone who makes use of the paid products of an individual or organization. This is typically through purchasing or renting goods or services.
