| Job Description |
As a Software Automation Specialist at Synygy, you will design and
develop automated functional regression and performance testing. You
will participate in many phases of the software development lifecycle
in support of our quality assurance processes This is a hands-on
position and will include working with internal Design Analysts,
Prototypers, Developers, Architects and other test personnel to produce
and automate an extensive range of web site test cases based on the
functional requirements. |
| Desired Profile |
1. Minimum of 2 years software automation experience in Windows and Unix environment.
2. History of implementing solid automated test scripts using object oriented programming for Web application.
3. Proficient in WinRunner and QucikTest Pro using modular approach in
creating maintainable scripts with customized user defined functions.
4. Strong coding skills in C, VBScript is compulsory.
5. Experience with SQL Server/Oracle and relational database systems.
6. Knowledge of CVS or other source control tool.
7. Knowledge of Test Director and/or LoadRunner a plus.
8. Certification in Mercury tools a plus.
9. Knowledge of Web & App servers such as Tomcat, Apache, WebSphere, IIS a plus.
10. Knowledge of standard testing techniques and quality processes.
11. Excellent problem solving abilities, detail orientation, and diagnostic abilities.
12. Superior oral and written communication skills.
13. Ability to coordinate and work successfully with a global team.
14. Minimum of bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent technical degree with 60% score is required.
