Job Description
* Participate and implement department policies in Application Development Process which include Requirements analysis, Software Development, Unit and Integration Test, Debugging, Post Release Support and Software Configuration Management activities
* Writes development documentation and contributes to end user documentation
* Manage own Application Development activities and ensure on time delivery of deliverables
Desired Candidate Profile
* Solid knowledge of software development in the UNIX or LINUX, and Windows environments Secondary 'Good to have' skills
* Strong analytical skill, working experience in Project Management and Continuous Improvement techniques
* Good problem solving, communication, interpersonal and organization skills
* Good command of English Language and a team-player
* Working knowledge of Oracle and Informix database and industrial experience in GSM/UMTS will be an advantage
* Solid knowledge in at least one of the following areas: programming/ scripting languages such as Perl, UNIX shells, SQL, C/C++, Java and PL/SQL
* Relational database design and use, including use of SQL
* Degree in Computer Science/IT, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent
* Minimum 2 years experience in Application Development environment
* Experience in software development in UNIX, LINUX or Windows environment
* Experience in Project Management and Continuous Improvement techniques is an advantage
* Sound knowledge in programming or scripting languages eg: Perl, UNIX Shells, SQL, C/C++, Java
* Fresh graduates with good academic records and relevant programming language experience are encouraged to apply
* Open for Malaysians or Malaysian PRs only
