Job Description
Work Area:
Carrying out complex test bed setups
Tracking and reporting open defects to closure
Reporting test metrics and test status
Reviewing / ensuring review of all the test work products
Following and ensuring that the test team follows all the organization and Software Engineering processes
Verification of software shipment / release
Managing verification of requirements, traceability and validation of system requirements and the system
Managing and executing testing projects
 
Desired Profile
Domain knowledge of Networking / Storage / Security will be added advantage
Experience in OS (Windows, Linux, UNIX etc), Networking Knowledge is required
Working Experience of server applications (Back Office products) such as MS Exchange, MS SQL, and IIS is desirable
Security management knowledge: firewall, IPS, VPN, etc
Familiarity with L2-4 networking protocols; some familiarity with others desirable
Knowledge of C Programming or any one scripting language (Shell, VB Script, Perl, TCL etc) is desirable
Hands-on software testing experience (preparing test plans, writing test cases, test execution manual/automated etc) would be an added advantage. Excellent communication skills and analytical ability
