| Job Description |
Responsible for complete test planning, execution, troubleshooting,
optimization and problem resolution on 2G/3G mobile devices.
You will be working with a multi-discipline team to test and
commercialize UMTS solutions. Close interaction will be required with
the software development group, 3GPP Standard representatives and
System Design Engineers to ensure test coverage and feedback on
software Change Requests. Successful candidate must have strong
communication skills, be an effective team player and be able to work
independently.
Exposure to SIM Simulators such as COMPRION IT3 or INTEGRI and UMTS
test simulators like Anite, R&S, Racal and Anritsu is a plus.
Positions require (10-20%) travel.

| Desired Profile |
Exposure to Wireless communications, SIM - ME interface standards, RF
propagation and Air interface standards. Basic knowledge of WCDMA and
GSM /GPRS protocol stacks, SIM - ME interface protocol, SIM Application
Toolkit and CS/PS data. Background in digital and analog
communications.
Programming skill with C++, Visual Basic and Perl is essential.
Having experience in Call Processing, Network Optimization experience,
Data Communications, SIM - ME interface protocol, SIM Application
Toolkit are added qualifications.
Additional Skills: Two to Five years of industry experience.
Education Requirements Required: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering
Preferred: Master's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering
