Job Description
This full time position is primarily a technical testing role working with a team of software testers and testing analysts. The primary objective for this candidate will be to drive the testing process individually and in a group, through development and execution of test scenarios, as well as regression testing and problem reporting on application software products over the Brew/ Java verified development platform. This position would also focus on the identification of security issues and quality of software. Identification of quality assurance issues such as capability, reliability, efficiency, portability, maintainability, compatibility and usability is imperative. There is also the need for isolation and reporting of localization and functional bugs within industry standard certification programs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
The test engineer will have deep knowledge in software testing methodology and the software testing life cycle. This knowledge and experience will be used to maintain test plans and testing scenarios for various software developers. The analyst will also be responsible for various regression, functional, licensing, networking, data storage and user interface testing on the basis of the information provided by developers for their software with the help of available plans and tools. Participation and creation of technical reports is essential to perform these duties. Also, the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies along with attention to detail and excellent communication and writing skills are essential.
The following essential duties and responsibilities for this position include:
Identify correctness, completeness, security and quality of software under real world conditions
Isolate and report localization and functional bugs for certification program
Identify quality assurance issues such as capability, reliability, efficiency, portability, maintainability, compatibility and usability
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
Education and experience
B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Solid technical background
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Attention to detail and a Self-Starter
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Technical skills Recommended:
Basic knowledge in C++, Java programming language
