Senior Mainframe Tester / Lead
Total experience: 4+ yrs
Job Location: Pune
Primary Skills: DB2, FILE-AID, JCL
Scope of work: Manual testing Assignment on Mainframe platform. Responsibility would involve test case design and execution & defect tracking.
Designing test scripts based on use cases
Execute scripts within Test Director/ Quality center.
Identification of test data requirements from a specification.
Execute test scripts for Distributed and Mainframe applications.
Ability to extract metrics on test execution from within Test director/ Quality Center.
Perform transaction entry and execution per documented procedure manual.
Proficient in documentation creation.
Assist in the defect resolution process, including working with development teams to help replicate defects.
Proficient with Test Director and Defect tracking methodology.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access.
Testing would involve batch execution using JCL and online execution using CICS.
