Job Description
Create test cases (positive,negative, boundary) & map them to design, functional specs & MRD
Build automated test scripts
Execute manual test cases
Execute automated test scripts
Enter issues / bugs in team track
Assign bugs to appropriate SE / escalate to QAL
Verification of fixed bugs
Generate build verification test reports
Execute test strategies for a given project as documented by QAL for an assigned module or component - functional, regression, performance, stress, load or smoke testing
Communicate progress of allocated tasks periodically as deemed by QAL
Ensures test cases are updates constantly
Ensures performance tests, negative tests, stress tests are documented and tested
Participate in UAT, Bug Bash
Escalate to QA Lead/Manager when implementation differs from Spec
Craete test scenarios / setups
Troubleshooting skills
Desired Profile
QA , manual testing experience ,test automation knowledge will be a plus point.
Test planning, test case designing, thorough knowledge about QA processes
Thorough knowledge on following technologies is must
Active Directory (Installation and configuration, OU's , AD sites, GPO, AD Schema etc.), DNS , TCP /IP
OS : Windows XP, VISTA,2003 server
