Working knowledge in Windows 2000/NT and Unix (basic commands) ,editors
like vi/sed, setting environmental variables in different Unix flavors.
Shell/awk/perl scripting
Database : RDBMS concepts, SQL
Server 2000/2005, Oracle Basics of Database admin, querying ( using
joins, conditions etc), Basics of SQL/PL-SQL programming.
Exposure to web technology architecture - J2EE/.NET
Working experience on Microsoft VSTS

Testing experience in Windows based applications.
Test Plan creation, Test scenario/platform creation, Test Plan/Case execution, Test result assessment for fitness to release
Functionality and Performance testing for Customer Facing and In-house products
Experience in deploying builds under Test environment including database set up
At least 2 years of hands on Experience in test automation tools for both Functional and Performance tools.
Participate in Requirements review, Design review from product capability/deployment stand point
Experience in driving Test strategy building, Configuration Management
Should be able to mentor and guide 2-3 Test engineers
Soft Skills
Good communication skills. Analytical skills, Detail oriented.
Should have Passion for quality/Process.
