Job Description
* The candidate will be a networking technical resource for a QA lab serving multiple product lines. The engineer will create test plans and participate in test planning and execution, and will define, design, and implement tests and tools needed to assure test efficiency and accuracy for validating product operation on a variety of network configurations.
* The successful candidate will contribute to test cycle strategy and planning, including the assignment of work to multiple resources, including offshore teams, and will analyze results and proactively communicate status to teams. Working closely with development, this engineer will be required to drive issues to resolution, and must have excellent communication skills and good follow-through. The candidate is expected to become familiar with all documented test procedures, and participate in test maintenance and revision.
* This CSQA Engineer will be expected to accurately assess the completeness, consistency and robustness of software requirements, design and implementation. Also will make recommendations for network hardware/software and tool selection and purchase.
* Essential Functions:
* This position is focused on the connectivity and network areas of the products under development. The person will manage assignment of work at all testing locations and will be responsible for creating test plans, test procedures, managing defect databases, and the communication of status to the various project teams. Requirements:
* Position Requirements:
* We require a BS in Computer Science or other engineering discipline a minimum of2 years of work experience with Software QA.
* A thorough understanding of SW life cycles and SW programming is required.
* Working knowledge of network architecture and familiarity with operating systems is required.
* Strong analytical skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skill is a must.
* Knowledge and experience with printing architecture in Windows and Mac environment is definitely a plus.
