Job Description
Candidate should have maintains key responsibility to oversee the tactical delivery of image creation and maintenance services that meet the requirements of the client. The following list provides specific responsibilities for the role:

Maintain advanced knowledge of workstation imaging, deployment processes, and technologies
Participate in projects/activities associated with the above functional areas
Perform tier 3 problem escalation
Interface with clients to understand their software needs and troubleshoot issues
Provide support and recommendations for client initiatives
Coordinate documentation of client deliverables
Able to represent DMM software capabilities to clients
Provide work and issue resolution with vendors and other teams such as development, support, network, and data center organizations
Monitor industry offerings and capabilities in areas of responsibility
Provide input on new managed services where added value may be achieved
 
Desired Profile
Candidates should be BE/ME/MCA from a reputed institute or university and must have

At least 2 years of experience designing, deploying and supporting Windows and Linux-based workstation images
Experience with workstation imaging technologies such as Ghost/Microsoft SetSysp (SysPrep)
Very imp. Point:
Experience working with hardware vendors in a technical capacity (Gateway vendors: Dell, Gateway, Sony for deploying and supporting Windows and Linux-based workstation images)
Experience working with virtual systems (Virtual PC, Virtual Server or VMWare)
Scripting and/or programming skills, preferably with Visual Basic
Strong written and verbal communication skills (English)
Self starter that is able to work both independently and in a team environment
Ability to take ownership for tasks and issues, utilizing all resources available
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and interact with key executives

And good skills in
Web development experience in HTML/XML/ASP
Experience working in a diversified, virtual environment
Software packaging skills using Wise or InstallShield products
Microsoft Certification for Windows 2000, XP, and/or other
Electronic software distribution experience, preferably with Microsoft SMS and/or Novell ZenWorks
Excellent systems skills utilizing Microsoft platforms (Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000 Advanced Server)
Foreign language skills (Asian and/or European)
