You can assign test cases, scenarios, procesess or process steps, in this tab. The test cases assigned here can be the default values for a project when you http://help.sap.com/saphelp_sm40/helpdata/en/65/37c54b251011d5b3760050dade3beb/content.htm - Create Test Plans .

Features

Assign new or existing test cases to a scenario structure

In this tab you assign test cases, scenarios, processs or process steps, which you want to use later for a process-oriented test. You can assign existing test cases or create new ones. You can create, change and display the following test case types:

·        Test documents, e.g. MS Word documents, web links (URL).

You have the same options as in the http://help.sap.com/saphelp_sm40/helpdata/en/c0/6454512a6411d5b37b0050dade3beb/content.htm - Project Documentation tab.

Note

You can assign the following test case description attributes:

·         Display the test case description change history in the History tab

·         Link to other existing documents which belong to the test case description, in the Links tab

·        Manual test cases in SAPscript

·        External applications

·        Automatic test cases, e.g. eCATT test configuration or third-party test tools with certified interface

·        Function module tests

Note

You can use a where-used list to see to which structure element a test case is assigned. Proceed analogously to Create Where-Used List in the Transactions tab.

Saving test cases

For function module tests, choose a component: These test cases are then saved in the associated component system.

You can also save manual test cases in SAPscript, external applications or eCATT test configurations in a central system, instead of a component system. You define http://help.sap.com/saphelp_sm40/helpdata/en/cb/cb3a3e5069eb6ce10000000a114084/content.htm - systems for such "central objects" in the http://help.sap.com/saphelp_sm40/helpdata/en/c7/b6dd3ae2b1f745e10000000a114084/content.htm - Project administration . If such a central system is defined, choose no components in the Test Cases tab. The test cases are automatically saved in the central system.

Manual test cases in MS Word format are saved in the Solution Manager Knowledge Warehouse.

Link manual test cases to a transaction or a program

If a manual test case describes testing a transaction or a program, you can http://help.sap.com/saphelp_sm40/helpdata/en/ae/9307413aaef223e10000000a155106/content.htm - link it to the transaction . The tester can then read the test case description and call the transaction directly from his worklist, in the http://help.sap.com/saphelp_sm40/helpdata/en/06/271888fc5211d1bcfd080009b4534c/frameset.htm">Structure linkTest transaction.

Other functions

·        You can display the descriptions of test cases and run automatic test cases, individually or collectively.

·        You can display the test case error logs.
