These sort of tests are normally manual testing. No scripts are being run. I work in a video company and one of our test plans are called HD Testing. In this test plan there are several test cases. For example:'1080i@30fps on a Dell system'or mailto:720p@60 - 720p@60 on a HP system. Usaully, the testers print these test plans out and test each test case with a Pass or Fail. When completed, they are handed in.

What I want is for them not to print them out but to complete them electronically. This way we will be able to save each test plan somewhere for engineering, management to see when they like. I should be able to see what the results were for test plans completed months ago and by who.
I'd like to know how this can be accomplish.
Some people mentioned online Version Control or Test Mnagement systems.
Normally, how do other QA departments perform manual testing?
