Task Manager of Macintosh OS X
Do you ever wonder is there a tool like Windows Task Manager on Macintosh machines? Yes, actually, there is. This is the "Activity Monitor" on Macintosh OS X.
With this tool, you can monitor system resource usage on your Mac
machines, like CPU, System Memory, Disk Activity, Disk Usage and
Network of your Mac machine.
Activity Monitor can also show information of every process that
are running on your machine, including Process ID, Process Name, User,
%CPU used, #Thread in a process and Real Memory used.
Further more, Activity Monitor can also help you Inspect and Force a process to quit.
To lancuh Activity Monitor - the Task Manager on your Mac machine, please follow steps below:
1. Open "Finder"
2. Choose Menu "Go" and then select "Applications"
3. In "Applications" Folder, open "Utilities" sub-folder
4. You can launch "Activity Monitor" there
