The QA Engineer is responsible for the development and execution of test strategies, test cases, and test scenarios related to the full stack integration of the company's software products.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement test scenarios, test cases and stress testing of software products.
• Using black box (functional testing without detailed knowledge of internal workings of product) and grey box (functional testing with some detailed knowledge of internal workings of product) testing methods, develop and execute product and integration test plans, scenarios, test cases, and stress tests focused on the integration and interoperability of the products.
• As required, in conjunction with other QA staff, perform black and grey box testing of various independent components of the stack, including functional, performance, stress, and negative testing.
• Develop and execute backward and forward compatible testing scenarios.
• Work with Engineering and Product Management to resolve and close defects.
• Build a strong baseline of functional test cases to be executed as needed for future product releases
• Help ensure engineering adherence to product development processes. Detect, document, and track system defects throughout the product life cycle. Communicate defects, risks, and issues to project team as needed.

• 3 or more years of experience in quality, software development, software configuration, software standards and specifications, software testing and validation, code review, and related SQA tools.
  Experience testing hardware and software products together in a complex matrix of compatibility with the ability to pinpoint areas of weakness in an overall product stack.
  Strong technical aptitude
  In depth understanding of configuration issues related to software development.
  Determined mind-set with strong troubleshooting skills.
  Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  Ability to be a self motivated, hands on, team player with multi-tasking skills.
  Passion for creating products with enterprise quality.
