9. Comparison of CSTP with CSTE:
a) CSTP is the only education based certification program in the world. We ensure that at the end of the day, candidates do not just have a certificate but have a complete grounding on all concepts of Software Testing. This is primarily driven by case studies, exercises and group discussions. They are given sample templates and forms which would ensure that they are ready to implement what has been taught in their respective organizations. They are truly in a position to advise the top management in the area of software testing. The trainers rich practical experience is translated into valuable learning for candidates in these programs. Candidates have a glimpse into Industrys best practices!
b) QAIs CSTE is only exam and certification based. There is no training or orientation imparted to the Candidates to face the CSTE Exam. They are just handed over a book and asked to prepare by themselves and face the exam. Candidates do not have any practical orientation or exposure to Industrys best practices.
c) We have benchmarked the common body of knowledge (CBOK) of CSTP with QAI's CSTE. Infact, we cover all the topics that are in CSTE in greater detail and also address those areas that are not included in CSTE.
The Common Body of Knowledge of QAIs CSTE is given below:
