1) QA Engineer

Summary of the Responsibilities:
The QA position is a member of the Research Technology team. The QA Engineer will utilize QA processes to run manual tests, log software defects into the defect tracking system, and work with the development team and fellow QA engineers to reduce software defects.

Details of the Responsibilities:
Perform system analysis and functional decomposition of software applications to derive software quality assurance test plans.
Develop test cases based on defined business/functional specifications and/or use cases.
Install the software products into the QA environment, and then completing end-to-end testing.
Execute test cases and accurately and concisely report both progress and defect status.
Enter and maintain information in defect tracking system.
Maintain QA documentation for test results and test plans.
Pro-actively work with Development in problem analysis, reproduction and resolution.
Understand the use of the Company systems from a user perspective.
Perform ad-hoc testing as needed.

Skill Requirements:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience working with the Mercury Quality Center Test Repository Toolset for Test Management and Defect Tracking.
Test Automation skills is a plus Mercury WinRunner/QTP.
Experience with Relational Database technology (e.g., Sybase, Oracle, SQLServer) and SQL queries.
Competent knowledge of software development lifecycles and how they pertain to product validation and Quality Assurance.
Experience with al phases and stages of software testing (Functional, System, Integration, Data Validation, User Acceptance, Scalability, Performance, Stress and Load).
In-depth knowledge of Test Planning and Test Case Development.
Have worked with technologies including: HTML, ASP, Microsoft .NET and SQL Servers.
Familiarity with the tools in the Microsoft Office suite.
Comfortable working in UNIX and Windows environments.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to multitask and excellent teamwork.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills required.

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 2+ years of relevant QA Experience in client/server/web environments
4-years of college in computer science, engineering, or information systems, or equivalent experience
Working knowledge of software testing disciplines and methodology (e.g., negative, white/black box, test phases, etc.)

Special Requirements:
Willing to work in a fast-paced, dynamic group with aggressive schedules.
Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed to meet project deadlines, or as requested by management.

2) Senior QA Engineer

Execute test cases and accurately and concisely report both progress and defect status.
