I was wondering on designing Automated Usability Test Cases for common usability issues like Controls arrangements, fonts, heights and widths. Does anyone have tried this? What was your experience? Or can anybody share thoughts on how we can do this with an automated tool.

We tried it but the controls even though they look the same are not arranged in the same

order. This is one of the common problems. One of the workaround we did was to take a

snapshot after a specified operation is done and compare the bitmap with the one we already

have to get the differences.
Well couldnt say that it worked wonders but it is ok.
