Hi,

I am encountering difficulties with configuring TestDirector 6.03 to run properly with an ORACLE 8.1.7 Client:
Indeed I can connect to the database, but whenever I define a new project, the wizzard crash during the generation of TestDirector tables. Has anyone encountered such problem ?
I have asked Mercury's technical support, but noone could answer...

I had the same problem while connecting TD 7 to Oracle 8.1.5. The problem turned out to be

that TD didn't like the default Oracle temporary table space name, which was "Temp".

When creating a new TD project, I would select "Users" for my tablespace and "Temp" as my

temporary tablespace name, which were the default tablespaces created by Oracle. I never

could get it to work.

Apparently, TD didn't like using "Temp" as the temporary tablespace name. As a workaround,

I created another tablespace in Oracle called "Temporary" with the exact same attributes as

"Temp". This time it worked.
