TEST / VALIDATION ENGINEER
            

Job Description
 
1. Control internal validation  for each delivery:    

    -  Plan, organize the validation stages
    -  Ensure the software interface tests 
    -  Ensure the product validation with end-user tests
    -  Ensure the installation and the follow-up of field tests 
    -  Control product requirements compliance and manage bugs tracking.
    -  Escalate technical issues 
       
2. Control the validation in relation to partners

3. Analyze, and follow the issues raised by customers

4. Continue the effort to improve product validation

     -   Documentary update of the test plans, test cases, and means of  test 
     -   Improve if necessary methodology of  the team 
     -   Ensure the comparison of the functionalities and performances of competitors when available
 
Desired Profile
     -   1 to 3 years experience in embedded systems test and validation for Consumer Electronics Industry 
     -   Some working knowledge with Real Time and Digital Video technologies 
     -   Knowledge of HW and/or SW architecture for digital STBs is a highly appreciated
 
General Characteristics
     -   Rigorous, motivated, autonomous and having team spirit 
     -   Knowledge of software development methodologies
     -   Knowledge of methodologies and tools for bugs tracking
 
Experience1 to 3 years experience in embedded systems test and validation
