Job Description:

This is an excellent opportunity to join Cisco’s latest SAVBU team. We are looking for candidates who strive in a fast paced start up like environment. You will be part of an experienced team working on next generation data center products.

You will be part of a fast paced QA team responsible for delivering quality code for large complex systems requirements. Open communications, empowerment, innovation, teamwork and customer success are the foundations of the team with ""pay for performance"" culture. Thus, you set your own limits for learning, achievements and rewards.

Requirements: UI Automation with 8+ years of exp

Soft skills:

• Demonstrated experience in planning large/complex projects; able to multitask and work independently.
• A Team player able to work with Program Managers, Software and Hardware Managers to effectively discuss corrective actions.
• Must have deep knowledge of system hardware architecture and the appropriate QA methodology.
• Fast learner and flexible, be able to adapt to new areas and technologies.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Requires a BS CS/EE, MS/ME in CS/E&C

Desired Profile :

Technical skills :

• Strong technical hands-on knowledge in one or more data center technologies:
o Platform (Must):
knowledge of x86 architecture or PC architecture.
In-depth understanding of Intel Chipset, PCI architecture, & USB architecture
In-Depth knowledge of various Intel processor families, understanding of various parameters like :
Multi core, Multi-Processing, Execute Disable Bit, Intel Virtualization Technology, Intel VT, Interrupt Remapping, Coherency Support, ATS, Pass-Through DMA. DCA.
Adaptor cards FC and Nic.
BMC: Baseboard management controller.
o Performance Tools : (Must): who has hands on experience using the tools like Passmark Score, Cpu Mark, 2D Graphics Mark, Memory Mark, Disk Mark, LMbench, Stream, SysBench, netperf, IObench, IOzone, uBench
o The candidate should possess strong debugging skills when issues found while running these tools. Has to closely work with the h/w and the s/w team to help and reproduce the issues.
o Should be a Fast learner who can pick up well with minimum supervision and should become a part of the fast passed execution team. Take the ownership and drive things on won.

• (Good to have): Scripting ability in TCL or Perl, and knowledge of integrating the scripts and automation in the test framework.
