		Job Description
		Responsibilities will include some or 
		all of the following:* Execute software testing and develop test 
		cases and test plans
		* Install and configure software products on various platforms
		* Develop and maintain automated software tests
		* Report software defects and track quality metrics such as defect 
		counts and test coverage
		* Communicate status effectively to management and team members
		 
	
		Desired Profile 
		Education and Experience:* 
		Bachelors degree, preferably Computer Science, Information Technology, 
		Mechanical Engineering or related field
		* 2 or more years experience in software quality assurance, software 
		development, software technical support, or related field
		* Knowledge of software development or quality assurance 
		methodologies and terminology
		* Experience in QTP and descriptive programming techniques would be 
		an advantage
		* Experience in Windows batch scripting and VB Scripting would be an 
		advantage
		* Exposure to any web-based applications, especially PDM/PLM, would 
		be an advantage
		* Exposure to PDM/PLM concepts such as Bill of Material or Change 
		Management beneficial
		* Strong written and spoken English communication skills


		* Skilled in communicating with a globally distributed team compromising 
		cross functional team members such as product managers, software 
		engineers, and technical support engineers
		
		* Flexible, adaptable, and willing to learn new technologies
		* Experience using Windows or UNIX operating systems
		* Working knowledge of Web Servers, Servlet Engines, Databases and 
		LDAP as they relate to web applications beneficial
