Topic: Carrer Shift

Hi there,

I am a software engineer for the past 8.5 years and developed lot of small apps and websites for the various companies. Now due to recession I lost my job and now sitting idle. Some one suggested that I should opt for the testing career and it is the best option after having so much experience in development.

I just wanted to know how can I enter the testing industry with less than 6 months testing experience.

This is the job I love to do and this will open my mind for more analytical thinking. So guys tell me how do I start for this and which companies are hiring freshers in testing.

Let me tell you that during these 8.5 years i have some testing experience, team lead, project management, client interaction experience and i very well know the Testing as well as Software Life Cycle
