Topic: Validation of text of textbox in Qtp

i am quite new to Qtp,
i need help in using Qtp,
I have a Registration form of Web page and I want to perform a test regarding validation of Text fields(like text Box)
E.g. in a telephone number's text box should accept numbers,
space, dot(.),hyphen(-),and (bracket)(), etc.......but 
Should not accept Alphabets.
The wrong and correct data is passing from the datatable if some data is
wrong than it should display in test result after completion of run session
in Qtp.
The validation firing at the time of pressing the submit button.
