Designation	Network QA Engineer- Layer Protocol Testing
Job Description	Responsibilities Test Planning, Test Execution, and debugging. Apply innovative testing to further improve test quality and coverage Utilize automation skills to increase test coverage and efficiency Communicate technical dependencies and concerns/issues of implementations Defect, test, and status reporting Willing to crash the product attitude
Desired Profile	Requirements BS in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering Experience in networking QA viz. Layer2 and Layer3 protocol testing. Good knowledge in Linux/Unix. Able to debug the problems using tools like tcpdump, ethereal etc. Should be familiar with the TCP and UDP protocols and knowledge of VLANs Able to configure the Managed switches (preferably Cisco 29 series switches) as per the testing requirements. Knowledge in Shell and Perl Programming Desired Requirements Unix and/or Linux / Windows system administration experience would be desirable Experience with debugging and writing the Perl code
