Summary :

• Design and implement test automation tools and strategies.
• Responsible for development of Test Automation infrastructure software to support Citrix products in an End-to-End System Test environment including Scheduling, Traffic Generation, Statistical Reporting, and Testbed Configuration software.
• Specific Citrix systems to be enhanced are Automated Test System, our test automation framework, and StarWars, our web based graphical reporting and presentation tool.
• New systems will be developed for controlling test resources and provide feedback to management for tracking release convergence.
• Continually improve and develop new test automation tools and strategies .
• Create customer deployment network topologies.
• Conduct special test analysis projects as required by management .
• Act as technology evangelist to other groups within the company, promoting our skill, tools, and best practices.
• The Test Automation team develops software to increase the test capacity and productivity within Citrix.
• Our internal customers are the Citrix Engineering, DevTest, and Marketing organizations.
• Our tools enable others to scale their efforts to provide better test coverage and provide the highest level of customer satisfaction by enabling Citrix to deliver reliable products that deliver the highest performance in the industry.

Skill Sets required :

• Perl, Apache, CGI programming experience
• Linux System / Network Administration experience.
• MYSQL expertise: schema and SQL query design & implementation.
• Unit test design and frameworks .
• 2-5 years of software development experience
• Familiarity with Network Topology & Components: Bridging, Routing, Switching, Load-Balancing, Content Switching, Cache-Redirection and other WAN concepts: what they are and how they work.

Preferred Skills :

• C programming experience.
• Network simulators (dummynet or similar)
• Java programming experience.
• Web development technologies including Javascript, AJAX, PHP, etc.
• MCSE, RHCE, RHCA, CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE certification

• Experience using Spirent Avalanche & Reflector.

Education: BS or MS; Preferably in Computer Science or equivalent
