To measure product development deliverables and report on defects through testing methodologies and toolkits.

1) To develop, modify and execute test plans to ensure proper coverage and disclosure of defects.

2) To research, develop and knowledge transfer Quality-based development best practices, methodologies and tools so that to reduce software defects in development phase.

3) To provide test results of functional and non-functional testing based on agreed metrics and recommend corrective actions if required.


Other Duties & Responsibilities

1) To assist software development team in the tracing of software defects through systematic test to expedite defect removal.

2) To collaborate with Project Management Office to ensure timely delivery of test results.

3) To maintain documentation of test cases, scripts and results to assist in debugging and modification of software.

Experience in Test engineering, Test case design, and QA methodologies

Software quality assurance experience, preferably in Banking or Online-gaming industry.
Strong knowledge of web technologies and software testing tools such as xUnit tools (NUnit, HTTPUnit, etc), Cruisecontrol, fxcop, NDoc, Jmeter, etc
Experience with defect tracking tools (Test Director / Bugzilla / Team Track / Remedy / Buglee / Jira) or test tools such as SilkTest, Winrunner, QTP and Rational Suite
Experience in software build systems like (Cruise Control / Ant / xMake / BuildIT / MS Build )
Experience with source code management / revision control systems (Perforce / StarTeam / CVS / VSS / SCCS / SVN)
Extensive experience in conducting Integration Testing, System Testing and Regression Testing
Strong knowledge test scripts development.
Good knowledge of JAVA, Javascript, C# and Visual Basic, .Net & web application testing experience
Strong understanding of mathematical models
