The primary responsibility of the Senior QA Engineer is to conduct functional testing ofthe companyproduct as per the plan and processes of the company.

Responsibilities:

Perform functional testing of the product as per the release plan.

Review development changes, verify bug fixes and analyze possible impact on production environment.

Prepare testing reports and project documentation as per company methodology and practices.

Follow good software configuration practices.

Gives attention to detail and commitment to deadlines.

Perform other tasks or participate in other projects as required.

Track Testing Progress against project plan and communicate status on regular basis.

Generate Reports as required by the project.

Manage Project Deliverables and Release.

Develops a good business understanding of Intellectual property domain.

Take initiative in learning and research.

Test migration issues such as SQL 2000 to SQL 2005.

Must have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent/MCA from a premier institute.

Must have at least 2 - 4 years' experience in Functional Testing.

Must have hands-on experience with MS-SQL Server 2000/2005 and good knowledge of RDBMS concepts.

Should have consistently scored above 60% in 10 , 10+2 and Engineering Degree.

Automation experience in Testing tools will be a plus.

Good Understanding of Software Testing concepts.

Ability to consistently perform under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines, all while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Excellent attention to detail and follow-through; process oriented.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills .

Self motivated and able to perform with minimal supervision.

Knowledge of source code version control tools .
