Job Description
Purpose:
As a Test engineer, you will assist in testing of a project by working closely with your testing team lead.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Writing, Reviewing and Executing Test Cases
Using defect and test management tool
Preparing the test environment and test data.
Work closely with the development team to resolve defects.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum Requirements:
Four year college degree or equivalent IT industry experience
2 years of testing experience.
Should have sound knowledge on black box testing.
Should be well versed with testing concepts and processes.
Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills
Exposure to all the levels of SDLC and Testing Lifecycle.

Desired Experience:
Automation and scripting experience desirable
Unix, SQL programming experience are desirable
Target Corporation and/or retail knowledge
Testing experience in Retail domain/Commercial business applications on ERP (such as Point of Sale, Inventory Managements, Supply Chain, Sales and Invoicing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, etc...)

At an all-team meeting that evening, Chairman and CEO Bob Ulrich and other key senior executives shared information about our company vision and values, helping TSI team members understand and embrace their role in building the Best Company Ever.
During the past year, TSI team members have supported teams across the company, improving efficiencies and driving Speed is Life results. The technology team has completed twenty major projects and has more than 100 projects underway or in the pipeline. Ten business teams are currently in place and more are slated to be added over the coming months. Currently TSI teams are working with ten pyramids: Target Technology Services, Target Finance, Strategy, Target.com, Stores, Marketing, Human Resources, Property Development, Legal, Quality and Target Financial Services.
The expansion of our work force in India supports our Best Company Ever vision.
