Description:

          The INCOS client/server application is a basic Catalog application. At a high level, the major functions required by the application are as follows. With the help of INCOS user is able to add a new customer, search for the existing one, search for the product and view the product info, entering payment info, complete the order and get the confirmation no. It has following modules - 1. Customer Information 

2. Customer Search 3. Item Search 4. Place Order 5. Complete order.

Responsibilities:

• Understanding the functionalities of the modules

·         Designing and execution of test cases.

·         Following up the issues with the development team

• Involved in running the performance script in the production environment for a major release of our product
• Performed Functional & Look and Feel Testing

 

 

2) Project # 2

Title   : RMS (Recruitment Management System)              Role: Test Engineer

Environment : JAVA, SQL Server 2000 and Crystal Report           Duration: 6 months

Description    :

      It is an acronym for Recruitment Management System. As part of selection criteria it has brought forth a process of selection of deserving candidates by means of an online examination. A candidate to write exam has to register and select a category. The examiner will give a set of 25 randomly selected questions to the candidate for which has to answer the questions at a limit of 3 min per question. Reports will be provided to the examiner for his selection of deserving candidates.

Responsibilities:

• Filter down those functionalities  which can be reused across other test cases

·         Performing Regression testing and detailed user level testing of the application.

• I was involved in understanding the functionality of the application so that we can have a clear knowledge about the flow of request
• Making various test scenarios.
• Running performance scripts under various test scenarios.
• Identifying those requests which were taking more time to get processed end-to-end.

 

1)  Title: Card Attendance System

     Team Size: 26                                                                                        Role: Trainee

     Technologies: C++, Java (Front end), SQL Server 2.0(Backend)

     Time Period: 11 Jul to 20 Aug 05             Company: Hindustan Aeronautical Limited (HAL)

Scope: The project involved the attendance management of a company; employee can make their attendance through a punch card. It automatically make them present in the database. Responsibility: Involved in Analysis, Design, Coding.

2)  Title: ATM Simulation

     Team Size: 3                                                                                         Role: Team Member

     Technologies: Java 1.5.0.2(Front end), MS-Access (Backend)            Time Period: 2 Months                                              

Scope: This project deals with automating the manual activities of the ATM card in a ATM Machine of the user. It manages all the major activities like Balance Enquiry, Pin no change monthly statement, mini statement and cash withdrawal of user in a ATM card.

Responsibility: Involved in Analysis, Design and Coding.

3)  Title: E-mail System

     Team Size: 6                                                                                        Role: Trainee

     Technologies: Java (Front end), MS-Access (Backend)

Scope: The project involved all the major faces used in a particular website; like login    window, registration. Inbox, composing, etc.
