Job Description
Scope of duties:

- Execution, analysis and maintenance of high sophisticated smart card test code

- Report of defects using state-of-the-art Defect- and Feature Tracking tools

- Improvement of test automation and requirement coverage rate

- Strong commitment to time, quality, costs and features within project work

- Self contained analysis of problems as well as providing and implementing of solutions

- Full responsible handling and maintenance of existing test code
 
Desired Profile
Education / experience:

- Technical degree of a high level university

- Deep knowledge and proven experience in embedded software development

- Deep knowledge in test methods and test metrics

- Several years of adequate professional experience with understanding of comprehensive software development.

- Education and detailed experience in international project work

- Experience in smart cards or IC products is very appreciated

- Proven knowledge to work in processes according to SPiCE and/or CMMI (Level 3) incl. adhered metrics

- Knowledge of the relevant specifications (JavaCard, Transfer-Protocols, Global Platform, Visa, MasterCard, etc.)

Technical skills with practical know-how:

- Excellent know how in test methods (e.g. unit testing, system tests, risk based test strategy) and test metrics (e.g. coverage metrics)

- Proven experience in C, C++ and Java programming (nice to have in Perl)

- Deep knowledge in the use of development tools (JUnit, CUnit, Java Development Kit, Compiler, Linker, Debugger, Eclipse etc.)

- Basic knowledge of embedded security micro controller technology (e.g. STM, Infineon, Renesas, Philips) including simulators and emulators

- Deep knowledge in development process tools (Requirements-Management e.g. DOORS, Configuration Management e.g. ClearCase, Defect- and Feature Tracking ClearQuest, Test Coverage, etc.)

- Proven experience in testing safe and secure embedded software

- Knowledge in cryptology methods and programming

- Microsoft Office - suite, incl. MS Project
