Topic: Intrasphere - Functional Testing Analyst

As a key member of the Quality Group you will ensure that the product meets the functional requirements as defined by the Product Group. As a member of the Quality team you would be required to understand the functionality of the product and work closely with the BA group to design and execute the test plans and test cases to ensure that functional specification are tested and fulfilled.

You will also work with the CS group to reproduce issues reported by the clients and help resolve, working with BA and development team.

You would be a full time MBA/PGDM and or CA from Top MBA institutes, with specialization in Finance.

You would have 1 to 2 yrs of experience as Quality Analyst in an IT Product/Services company, performing quality analyst role for a Financial application.

Create, execute, track and report on test cases for Integration Testing; Regression Testing; Quality Assurance Testing; User Acceptance Testing; Client Portfolio Regression Testing; Production Upgrade Testing; Performance Load Testing; Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Testing

Identify the test data per use case and per test case; validate functionality based on requirements and use cases

Validate business rules in calculation, financial planning and reporting engines

Develop and maintain the automated testing scripts

Knowledge of various automated tools

Work on department-wide activities such as process improvement efforts, gather and report on quality metrics, and participate in pre-and post-implementation reviews

Work closely with teams of business analysts, developers and testers throughout the entire development life cycle.

Possess a good understanding of client server and web-based technology solutions and architecture

You should have Excellent Analytical and Communications Skills and be a team player and have exposure to working with International teams.

You should be a self-starter; focused and driven to succeed; result orientated. Organized and disciplined with ability to manage expectations (internal and external)

You should have some exposure in derivatives, treasury risk management and accounting. Knowledge of various derivatives products like Options, Swaps, Forwards, etc. for Interest Rate, Foreign Exchange or Commodity products is desirable.

You would be an experienced professionals working in an IT consulting or Product company or a Bank performing the Quality role.
