Job Description

SERVER SIDE TESTING

1. Test case creation, automation and execution on server side testing.
2. Experience in Shell/Perl/Python scripting & UNIX
3. Functional and automation testing
4. Define and setup test environment

Desired Candidate Profile

The candidate should be able to independently work test case creation, automation and execution on server side testing

Should have experience in Shell / Perl / Python scripting

Good knowledge of UNIX

Excellent concepts in functional and automation testing

Ability to define and setup test environments

Any one of the following is mandatory with the above common required skills.

1. Testing of Java based server applications. Should have good knowledge any 1 tool used for performance/load testing of Java based server applications. JUnit, java for testing

2. Basic knowledge about MS Exchange, Linux.

3. Overall responsible for the system and UI level testing of web search engine, along with it build, release and deploy the system

4. Testing of .NET web based application spanning one vertical of PLM domain

5. .NET web based application, SQL Server 2005 Testing

6. Experience in QA of applications involving data processing pipelines, data correctness, performance testing, SQL knowledge. Conversant with DB, web crawlers, data processing pipelines, scripting.

7. Understanding the requirements and scope of testing for the project. Prepare the Master Test Plan and the Test Strategy. Develop the Automation framework for the Project.
