Hi,
Can anybody help me out with estimating the automation effort for a project? For example a test estimation technique for manual testing is Test case point analysis. Again is there such an estimation technique for Automation effort too? Please suggest Post Resume: Click here to Upload your Resume & Apply for Jobs |

Automation is a development type of activity. Plan it like you would a development project.
There are distinct phases and deliverables with each phase. Also, plan this work to be done over multiple 'releases'. Start small and basic and build off of it. Small steps / small wins is a good way to get it done. Get management buy-in to do it this way. You want to be part of the 20% that succeed and not the 80% that fail. |
